Inauguration
The programme inaugurated by lighting traditional lamp by Chief Guest Sri. Dr.L. Srinivasan, M.E., Ph.D., Scientist/Engineer-'SG' Vikram Sarabai Space Centre (VSSC), Sri. M.N. Venkatesan, Secretary, VES, Sri. R. V. Ramalingam, Correspondent, SRDKVV and beloved Principal Smt.B. Usharani. Our Principal welcomed the gathering. Our Secretary honoured the chief guest. Chief guest Sri. Dr. L. Srinivasanji unveiled the Ganith Vigyan Meal logo of 2019 and addressed the gathering. He emphasized to inculcate qualities like humanity, patriotism and divinity in young children to strengthen future country. The prime aim of conducting exhibition is to given opportunity to students to explore in Science and Maths domain. He announced that Dr. Abdul Kalam award named "Ignite Young Scientist Award" is given to young scientists. He concluded his speech by insisting students to acquire all soft skills like respect elders etc. Sri. M. N. Venkatesan quoted about Nalandha Library, a power house knowledge about our eastern tradition. He concluded his speech by proudly saying that eastern knowledge is great and lofty. So we should make all possible ways to preserve our tradition and culture.
Valedictory
The programme commenced with prayer. Sri. R. Ravindran, Joint Secretary, VES honoured the chief guest Dr. L. Ranganathan, M.E., Ph.D., MISTE, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Jeeppiaar Engineering college. Dr. L. Ranganathan thanked the institution for conducting exhibition in the school. He appreciated all teachers, parents and students for their whole hearted participation to make the programme a grand success. Sri. R. Ravindran welcomed the gathering, he appreciated all the participants and highlighted that 12 schools with 248 exhibits. He started his speech by saying that our body is made up of five elements of nature called "Panchabooda" and we should go along with the nature. He concluded by saying our school is service oriented institution and in the forthcoming years many competition should be conducted on different topics. Sri. K. Ponraman, Vidya Bharathi welcomed all and started his speech by saying that education is essential in everybody's life. Then the winners of the day were honoured with the medals, certificates and the shield for the school - more number of participants won by Revoor Padmanaba school with 232 participants and overall shield won by Thiruthangal Nadar School. The programme concluded with Shanthi Mantra.
